Dianne Dyck will present a 3-day workshop on The Fundamentals of Disability Management Programs, April 28-30, 2018, at the Partners in Prevention Conference, Mississauga, ON. The 3-day workshop offers the content covered in the University of Fredericton (UFred) IDMP 311 course. Participants can take the course and if they wish, they can complete the three related assignments and earn a course credit from UFred.
The workshop is intense (3 days x 8 hrs per day), but the participants get Continuing Education credits for a number of certification programs; the potential to earn a university credit and carry on with advanced studies through UFred; and a chance to network with other participants in the field. It will certainly prepare any OH&S Practitioner, Occupational Health Nurse, HR Professional, Union Leader, or any candidate who is planning to take the CRSP certification examination. Employers have taken this workshop in the past and found it to be of great value.
For the registration fee, the participants get the required textbook (Disability Management: Theory, Strategy & Industry Practice, 6th edition, 2017), all the course materials and resources, and lunches for the three days. It is a really great deal for the above candidates.
