3:15 - 4:15 Mental Health, Sustance Use and Accommodation at Work
Are you seeing mental health issues, or the consequences of substance usage, in your workplace?
1 out of 5 Canadians are actively dealing with either a mental health condition or a substance abuse disorder. These challenges largely go unaddressed, and untreated. How can we increase our awareness of this silent epidemic in the workplace? How can we accommodate our colleagues who we care about in these circumstances? How can we ethically hold our workplaces accountable for screening, policy, and programming to address these challenges? Join us for a candid, research-based presentation and discussion surrounding mental health, substance use disorder and accommodation in the workplace.
